Adam S. Barrist joined Deeb Petrakis Blum & Murphy in 2004. Previously, Adam practiced law with a large Philadelphia-based firm where he gained considerable experience in litigating civil matters from inception to conclusion.
Mr. Barrist concentrates his practice in all areas of commercial litigation, tort litigation, and contract negotiation. He has handled a wide array of cases in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Recently, much of Adam’s practice has been focused upon high-profile catastrophic injury cases and construction disputes. In the past few years alone, Adam has recovered millions of dollars for his personal injury clients.
Moreover, a recent portion of Adam's practice has been devoted to employment contract negotiation on behalf of television celebrity talent.
Having lived in France for a significant portion of his life, Mr. Barrist is completely fluent in the French language and has represented French-speaking clients in litigation.
Mr. Barrist is the author of the fictional legal thriller novel, The Concrete Lawyer.
