
Stephen H. Frishberg is a partner in the law firm of Deeb Petrakis Blum & Murphy, practicing in the area of estate planning and administration, corporate, transactional, real estate and tax planning. Mr. Frishberg is also a Certified Public Accountant, although he confines his practice to the law.
Mr. Frishberg is a highly regarded lecturer who has delivered talks on various aspects of estate planning to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Temple University School of Business Administration, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, the Montgomery County Estate Planning Council, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, the National Business Institute and the Paralegal Institute, and has served as Chairman of the Legal Basic Practice Course of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. He is an Accredited Estate Planner and a member of numerous professional associations involved with estate administration, estate planning and taxation.
Mr. Frishberg is a member of the Montgomery Country Bar Association, and has served as Chair of the Orphans' Court Rules Committee and Chair of the Probate and Tax Section. He is also a Board Member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council and recipient of their 2003 Mordecai Gerson Meritorious Service Award.
Mr. Frishberg was named as a member of the Beta Alpha Psi Honor Accounting Fraternity. He served as President of the Board of Managers of Temple University’s School of Business, was the first recipient of its Business Administration's Outstanding Service Award, and received its Certificate of Honor in 1982. In addition, Mr. Frishberg is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Philadelphia, the Board of Directors of The Wellness Community, where he serves as their legal counsel; the Board of Governors of the Golden Slipper Club and Charities; and serves as President of the Golden Slipper Senior Center and as President of the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
